The Misadventures of Cheryl: "Experimental" is a hard word

Experimental? Cheryl struggled a little with the word - it did have five syllables, after all - but eventually grasped its meaning. She didn't understand what the man was on about, though. What could an experiment possibly have to do with her? "Huh?" she said. The man sighed, but apparently decided that trying to explain would be a waste of time. Instead he opened the door. "Please go in," he said.

  1. Cheryl did as she was told, and the man followed her in. It seemed to be a laboratory of some sort. Cheryl dimly wondered what it was doing in a costumes shop.
  2. Cheryl did as she was told, expecting the man to follow her in. Instead, he locked the door from the outside.
  3. Cheryl thought that what she could see through the open door was kinda scary, and so she refused to enter the room.
  4. *Something else.
