Backstage: A bad situation

Jim felt the usual "tingly" sensation of being zapped back into the AddVenture, but suddenly felt that sensation slip away.... HE was back in the Backstage area. "Aww, man! Now those blood hungry amazons will castrate me for sure!" Jim spoke aloud to himself. Suddenly Jim heard a siren come on and a red light began blinking on and off. "Whatthefu-" he said as a mild spell of concern grew. He turned to see Sid oddly unescorted by his wives. "Jim! Thank goodness you didn't leave! We've got a bit of a situation back here and travel back to the AddVenture has been shut down temporarily, both in and out!" Jim wasn't used to seeing Sid so alarmed it added to that conscern he felt earlier. "What is it Sid? What happened?" Sid wiped sweat from his forhead and breathed a deep sigh before starting, "Well we got a bunch of the big-guns back there tusslin'. Demonica, some people called Chrodim, some of Conrad's folks too. Others too but those were to name a few. Problem is Demonica is capable of altering the AddVenture's fabric, that's how she can teleport and all that other handy stuff, make's our remotes look like shit in a can." "Yeah, and so?" "Well with all those fellas back there attacking her she's done lost her temper, and because of that the fabric of the AddVenture's gone all to hell. Well worse than usual anyway. She took out five of our remotes but I saved this one. I'll use it to freeze time here while we go fix up the AddVenture before something real bad happens." "Like what?" "Well Jim there's some bad characters out there, products of writers' imaginations, and if some of them were at the right place at the right time all of this could just as well never had happened." "They'll undo the AddVenture?" "Exactly. Now we just got to hop back in the AddVenture and get people back where they belong." "All right then let's go." Sid grabbed his control and created a portal....
