Jacobs face fell. He'd gone from supreme showman to shy farmboy in a matter of moments. There seemed to be a hint of...anger...in his eyes. That startled Richard a bit. His cousin had always been so calm and quiet. When he spoke, there was an undertone of ice, "No, Richard, I did not make magical potions. I made highly scientific genetic enhancing serums with specific RNA chains to simulate proper native behaviors. I've spent several weeks working on these thing to surprise you. If you don't want any of this, fine, but I thought at least it would make your three months of farm life go a bit easier."
Richard took a step back, "No, Jacob, I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to upset you. Here, I'm a player and I appreciate it. Just to show you..." Richard grabbed one of the bottles and slugged it down.
Jacob looked on wide-eyed and stuttered, "R-r-r-richard...there were TWO full doses in that vial."
He grabbed the vial from Richard and flipped it over. When he saw the label, he gave a small moan, "Geez, Richard, this one should have been used on a girl--it's female bovine based. This was the cow formula!"
As Richard stared, Jacob began to dig through his desk. He found some notes and glanced over them, and then up at Richard, "The good news is that this should be reversible. The bad news is that so far I've only mixed the single dose of antidote. We're going to have to wait until I can get another dose completed to fix what's going to happen. Now, we'd better get you ready..."
