Damaged Mind Control Bracelets

After wasting three hours in interrogation, Johnny was pleased to at least get the bracelet back. He hadn't enjoyed feeling like himself during the session. All of the sharpness, precision and confidence he had felt while wearing it had evaporated.

After accepting the officers' apologies, he collected his luggage and got into a taxi outside the airport. Once in the back seat, he was able to check out the bracelet.

  1. *The bracelet seemed unchanged. But once he placed it on his wrist, he discovered that there was something wrong.
  2. The bracelet's gem had turned an unpleasant milky brown colour.
  3. The bracelet no longer fit around his wrist.
  4. The metal was no longer as maleable as it had been. It was now brittle.
  5. Something else happened.
