"Well?" Sharon finally asked.
Jim shook his head. "It's a new plot, but I still can't believe it."
"Who is it going to involve?" Rick asked.
"Everyone except the kitchen sink," Jim replied. The printer beeped as a few more sheets came out. Jim picked them up and groaned as he read them.
"What's wrong now?" Sharon asked.
"They just threw in the kitchen sink," Jim sighed.
Amidst a few nervous titters, Rick said, "Well come on, don't keep us in suspense. What do we do in this new line?"
"Ok, here, let me hand these out- and you two" he glared at Frank and Earnest- "if those kits of yours get out of hand with this line I'll have your guts for garters."
"They're in this line, too?" Candace asked a bit nervously.
"Yeah. It starts off with me and Sharon going in to a jewelry trade show to rob the place. The kits are our secret weapon, and we're sneaking them in by having me disguised as a woman, with the kits in my fake breasts." Everyone exploded in laughter, and even Jim's lips quirked. "And if they even think of making trouble in there...." His would-be threat was lost in another round of laughter, so he shook his head and gave up.
"What do I do?" Sharon asked.
"You're the head of the gang, and my immediate superior. It was your idea to do all this, and since I'm your boyfriend I got roped into it right at the start. Says here 'borderline dominatrix'."
Sharon groaned as she took the sheets that Jim handed her and began reading over the part.
"Rick, you're an old high school friend of mine, we got several of my former friends in on the gang. You're outside waiting to cut the power off to the trade show at the right time." Rick grinned as he took his part. "Candace, you're Rick's girlfriend again, and helper. He's got you stationed at another spot out there to help him shut things down." Another part handed out. "Robin, you're an old high-school flame who we've got inside to help us during the switchover. It's your bra I'm wearing" he pretended to ignore the titters. "We're supposed to meet up in the bathroom at the crucial point, and-- well here, read it for yourself." He handed Robin her part. "Sophia, you're one of our suppliers for all of the costumes that we're using. Looks like you'll be a bit getting onstage. Here..." he handed her her part.
"What about me?" pouted the nameless redhead.
"Lesseee.... does 'red-haired genie' sound like your part?"
She grinned. "Yes, it does!"
"Good, here you go, then. Well, I guess that takes care of everyone- oh, Frank, Earnest, here's your briefing notes- and be sure you get those kits trained right."
"Yeah, yeah" Earnest growled amidst the general amusement.
Jim sighed and braced himself. "Well, let's get going before they start docking us, gang."
After a few minutes of whirlwind activity- and plenty of giggles as Jim and the kits squeezed into their costume- the dressing room was rapidly cleared. It stood vacant with only a sign that Jim had hung above the printer which read. "BE Potpourri line started. Hit the red button to get your part."
