The start of Richard's brand new day

Unending BE - episode 97609

Richard suddenly sneezed. The box fell form his graps and with a loud shatter. The box had opened on impact and inside was a ball, about the size of a baseball, all black that had what appered to be flashes of energy inside. The shatter was the fact that there was not a large hole in the side. Black sort of mist spilled out, filling the room. Richad found it hard to breath and see at all through the gas. Richard was blinded by a white flash and the smell of ozone.
A sort of mist left the room. The clock flipped silently from 6:59 to 7:00. A loud alarm went off and Richard groggily hit the snooze button. A few minutes later the alarm went off again. Richard was about to cotninue his daily ritual of sleeping in when he realized:

  1. *He was late for school!
  2. *There was someone else in bed with him. (What can I say, it's a classic)
  3. *An odd feeling he should check the mail.
  4. *Nothing. Might as well go back to sleep.
  5. *That he wasn't quite himself anymore.
  6. *Something else.
