Watching the anger in Dana's intelligent eyes turn to a vacant stare almost unnerved Johnny. The wide grin that spread across the attractive agents face made her seem ten years younger. Dana didn't understand what had happened, but that didn't seem to matter very much. A pleasant emptiness had crossed her mind, the stress of this odd investigation rapidly receding.
"Ahhh, Johnny, what was I talking about?" the absent-minded agent asked.
"You were just telling me how you thought I was up to something with the crash," Johnny replied.
"Oh, ummm, why would I care about that?" Dana replied totally confused now. She was rolling strands of her luxurious red head around the end of one of her fingers.
"Hay Johnny, you're kinda cute, you wanna fuck or something?" Dana said a moment later, totally forgetting her question.
"Not right now. What's two plus two," the spent Johnny replied to the anxious agent.
"Oh, shoot. Four silly, such a simple question. Now if you asked me about multiplication, I just don't know that stuff very well," the disappointed against replied.
"Well, I guess I AM supposed to find out what's going...." Dana started when her expression changed for giddy happiness to one of heavy concentration. Johnny thought she looked so cute, trying so hard to figure out what was up. Combined with her ridiculous makeup, her look almost bordered on that of a clown.
The dim light in Dana's eyes receded further a moment later. Her eyes opened wide and a placid smile crossed her features.
"Ahhh, hi,, my name is...ummm," Dana started to ask.
Shit, she must be getting even more stupid. Not sure how to stop it, Johnny just sat and watched the agent slowly change into a moron.
"I think my name is Shannon," Dana said, shaking her head. Her pouty mouth opened slightly.
