Sharon the Were-spider: Her first prey.

Precariously safe, Sharon dangled out of view of her web, waiting for prey. She had decided against catching the fly; as hungry as she was, and as much delicious warm blood as she could drink from it, it would be simply too big for her to subdue. She had to think proportionately.

Dutifully she hung from her strand, every once in a while feeling a muscle twitch or a new set of bristle hairs poke through her hardening chitin. She ignored them as best she could, and waited.

A slight buzz caught her attention. She spun on her zip-line, searching for the sound.

There! It was not much larger than she was, and appeared to be humanoid, save for the small antennae and pair of delicate double wings. The pixie flew dreamily, aimlessly, unattentive of its surroundings.

Sharon wondered how a pixie’s blood would taste. Her mouth watered, the saliva slightly acidic as it landed with a hiss on a branch below her. She felt a distention of her jaws, felt the mandibles pulling out and away, into a diagonal quadrant of serrated mandibles, slowly opening and closing over her fanged mouth. She wanted to use them to push it within her mouth, to devour and feast…

Fate brought her the repast, as the pixie began practicing his corkscrew dives. Heedless of the danger, it flew straight into the were-spider’s web, trapping itself immediately.

Sharon salivated uncontrollably at the scent of pixie blood. She felt more changes trying to boil to the surface from the spider’s venom, and hoped ingesting the pixie blood would bring them forth. She wanted to become a full she-spider, so badly she could taste it.

Sharon scurried along her strands, her slick pads keeping her unencumbered as she approached her prey…

1. She devours the pixie, and her lower half grows completely spider-like (including two new pairs of legs).
2. As above, except she gains extra pairs of black eyes.
3. As above, except her body becomes covered in black chitin, with a red hourglass on her thorax.
4. *The pixie begs for its life, offering to change her back into her previous shrunken human form if she frees him.
5. The pixie uses its magic to escape (and causes Sharon some serious grief in the process).
