Teslian dream

Unending BE - episode 87399

"Wake up, young man! You're shaking the floor!"
Jim opened his eyes and woke up from the weird pig-girl dream. He was on a cot in the corner of what looked like a late 19th century laboratory. A good-looking man in his forties had just finished placing an electrode on his forehead, and administered a shock that REALLY woke Jim up."

"Huh... Professor... Tesla?"
"I'm no Professor, young man, but yes -- you did get my name right."
"You are Nikola Tesla?"
"Why, I'm glad you heard of me. I went to the park yesterday evening to feed my pigeons, and found you unconscious behind a bush... Intreresting device, this 'sony vaio' you have with you. Where did you find a logic engine so powerful and small?"

Jim looked around to see that his laptop had been hooked up to a very early version of a battery charger. "Mr. Tesla, sir... what year is it?"

"Why, 1898 of course... you seem to be suffering from amnesia, young man... do you remember anything at all?"
