Sean appeared in a bathroom. A second later, he realized there was a woman in the bathroom. She seemed vaguely familiar, but he couldn't place her.

Sean got to his feet. "Um, sorry. I didn't mean to be rude, but things are kind of out of my control right now. I'll leave, if you want, or I can try to explain . . ."

The woman reacted in a way that surprised him. She grabbed him by the shoulders. "Don't leave! You're not part of this world, right? You're the only one who can help me escape Ernie!"

Sean pulled the woman's hands off his shoulders. "Ok, slow down. What's going on?"

"My name's Jim. A guy named Ernie Piatzo turned me into a girl, and then he put me into this anime. It's called Neon Genesis Evangelion and involves giant mecha fighting weird creatures called Angels. I'm Misato Katsuragi, one of the characters. I can explain more, but I'd prefer to spend the time looking for a way to escape."

"Ok." Sean prepared to ask how they could be in anime.
