She looked down at herself. "I wet myself," she said.
Paul grinned. "Well, it's a good thing you're wearing a diaper, then. Huh?" Jacki popped him on the forehead playfully. "Well, now I've got to go get cleaned up." She headed for the bathroom. Suddenly, she stopped and looked back over her shoulder. "Care to join me?"
Soon, the two of them were in the shower together. And Brenda was in the bathroom sink, where she spent the rest of the night. The next morning, Jacki washed out the diaper, and put it on the top of the pile in the linen closet. I must have imagined what I saw yesterday, she told herself.
She heard a knock on the front door, and went to answer it. "Hello, Mrs. Shaffer," Amy, her babysitter said, coming in. "How's Jessica doing today."
"So far, so good," she told the teenager, getting her purse. "I hope it stays that way for you. I should only be gone for a couple of hours. Three at the most. Enjoy your afternoon."
Jacki hadn't been gone but a few minutes, when Amy's quiet afternoon was shook by Jessica's earpiercing screams. "What is it now," she sighed. "Do you need your diaper changed? Is that it? Well, wait here."
Amy went to the linen closet, and got the diaper off the top of the pile. She throw Brenda over her shoulder, and went back to the screaming toddler. "God," she said angrily, "I'm so tired of listening to your hollering at the top of your lungs. You know, I wish..."
