Jim would have liked to have stayed in Roswell and got to the bottom of what had happened twelve years earlier. Had a stealth fighter from his own - or a similar - alt somehow been thrown into this one, perhaps by some secret military experiment? But he didn't feel that it would be safe to go digging any further. Within an hour of hitting town, he had already almost been arrested. So reluctantly he returned to where he had left the gyro.

He:

  1. Headed for Mexico, as the first step towards hopefully eventually getting to Europe.
  2. *Found the gyro wouldn't start.
  3. Found the gyro was now surrounded by military police.
