Since Gromdel had outstanding debts, his proerty was auctioned off, with Raven and the unnamed blonde slave being sold to separate owners. Raven enjoyed a rather short life, being killed in an attack on a caravan in which she and other slaves were being transported. The raider who killed her was himself put to the sowrd by his leader for destroying valuable property. As for the blonde, she lived a long life, pleasuring many masters, including the former Ubar of AR and his barbarian friend. Eventually, however, all good things must come to an end, and a wasting sickness slowly drained her life. For the last time she closed her eyes to sleep.
