"Well," the nurse said, "Normally a person in your condition would be here for months, but..."
"But what?" Jim said franticly.
The nurse continued, "We have a new doctor at the hospital who says that he can have you out of here tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?!" Jim gasped in shock, "How can he have me out of here tomorrow?"
The nurse gave Jim a kindly glance. "Now now, don't overexert yourself, Jim. The doctor will explain it all to you tomorrow. Goodnight."
The nurse turned on her heels, turned off the light, and darted out of the room. Jim watched her awesome posterior leave the room and then passed out from the medication she had given him.
When Jim awoke, the nurse was standing above him along side an rotund elderly looking man wearing extremely thick glasses. The man spoke to Jim.
"Allo, Jim. I am Doctor Weissenheimer and I have good news for you. I have developed an amazing new healing method that will let you leave this hospital feeling fine in just a matter of hours."
"How is that possible?" Jim asked.
"I'll explain on our way to my lab." The nurse pushed Jim's bed out into the hallway as the doctor continued. I have created a machine that will rebuild you genetic structure leaving you with no scars, weak bones, or brain damage. All I do is take a small portion of your brain, insert it into my machine along with a special mixture of aging chemicals and genetic stabilizers, and you will be as good as yesterday. Even better, you'll be good as new!"
They entered the doctor's lab and the nurse closed the door.
The doctor made suere noone else was in the lab and then leaned close to Jim's ear. "Of course, for an extra fee, I could make certain improvements in your appearance if you would like."
