The minotaurs had had their dentition and digestive systems altered to suit them to a diet of grass. Though their legs could bend a long way forward at the knee, bending very far forward made keeping their balance very difficult, especially given the weight of their breasts. Thus they found it convenient to lie down to graze, periodically getting up and moving a few feet when they had eaten all the grass within reach.

After several hours grazing:

  1. They were led into the barn for the night.
  2. *It was time for milking.
  3. A fierce dog somehow got into the field, and the minotaurs stampeded in terror.
  4. One of the other minotaurs came up to Sharon, and mooed urgently at her.
