Jimmy sat at his worktable putting the finishing touches on his class project. He had spent over a week just getting prepared for it and then another week sculpting the clay with all the tender care and diligence he could muster, which was actually quite a bit when he was motivated. Miss Peterson, his arts teacher, stepped over to Jimmy's table and inspected his work. "Um, Jimmy, what exactly is that?" she asked. Miss Peterson screamed for everyone to duck and cover, but it was too late. Little Beatrice Potter lay sprawled on the far side of the room, her head crushed under one of the aluminum doors.
