There was a cold wind, and Sharon shivered. Soon she was covered with goose-bumps, and her nipples were erect. The sensible thing to do seemed to be to head for the bottom of the mountain, since the lower they got the warmer it should be. However, they had not gone far when:

  1. It came on to snow.
  2. They reached a point where a portion of the path had crumbled away.
  3. *The path entered a cave. There was no obvious route to bypass it.
  4. The path was blocked by a bear.
