Sharon's breasts were now so large that an increase of one cup size wasn't very noticeable to the eye, but she could feel the extra weight until she got used to it. (Fortunately each increase in breast size seemed to be accompanied by a corresponding increase in the strength of her shoulder muscles, so apart from her breasts' unwieldiness they weren't a major problem.)

"The pattern seems to be that we continually find ourselves in trouble, and that you then have to put on or take off the ring to get us out of it," said Sharon. "And every so often, doing that makes my breasts grow an unpredictable amount as well. Well, at least where we are now doesn't seem immediately dangerous."

They started walking through the maze, looking for a way out.

  1. But couldn't find one. To avoid their being cut to ribbons in getting out, it looked as though Jim would have to put the ring on again.
  2. Soon they came to what appeared to be the centre of the maze. There was a table there, covered in a white cloth, and on it was a pair of golden anklets.
  3. *They found the exit.
  4. They noticed something remarkable in the garden outside the maze (they could see over the top of the bushes that formed its walls).
