"Ouch!" she exclaimed. "That stung!" She shook her hand to relieve the tingle. The motion set up a series of undulations under the covers that neither of them could ignore.
"Alright, Jim. I know you're keeping something back. What's going on here?"
Jim hesitated a moment. What's the best way to tell your girlfriend that she's now a centerfold to the nth degree?
"Well...ah...that is....yeah. There is just one other thing." He hesitated some more.
"Go on, Jim. Let's have it."
"Well, I realized that Samantha--that's the shopkeeper lady--was wearing a ring just like yours, so I figured that was how she was moving stuff from you to her. So I slipped her some sleeping pills in her drink, brought her up here just before she passed out, and swapped the rings.
"After a while I could see you were beginning to get back what you'd lost, but I figured that since it had taken all night for Samantha to steal what she'd gotten up to that point, it would take a long time before you were back to normal. So I went downstairs to shut down the party and then came back up here to check on you. Honest, Babe, I wasn't gone longer than maybe thirty or forty minutes. But when I came back up here you were...well...like you are now."
"What do you mean, 'like I am now?'" Sharon asked sharply.
"Weeellllll, you know how Samantha was siphoning your looks into her body?"
Sharon nodded.
"Well, when I switched the rings, that reversed the process and all her looks started flowing into you, and..."
Sharon just stared at him, daring him to continue.
"Well, things just went faster in reverse. Maybe it was because you two were so close, I don't know. But by the time I got back here there was hardly anything left of Samantha and you looked....
"Aw shit, Babe. You were pretty before, but now you're so damn beautiful it makes my heart ache just to look at you. I don't know what your figure looks like, but I suspect it's at least as awesome as your face." He stopped, out of words, and waited for Sharon to respond. She...
