Quietly, in order not to waken his steadily improving girlfriend, Jim left the bedroom, closing the door behind him.
He spent the next little while rounding up all the guests and explaining to them that Sharon was feeling pretty far under the weather and that all the party noise was making it difficult for her to rest.
Surprisingly, he had little trouble getting everyone out of the house in relatively short order. Everyone, of course, except Rick, who had cornered Tina in the dining room and was busy regaling her with tales of his exploits in the business world.
