Sharon and Phoebe, who had acted as midwife, stared in astonishment at the heap of collars that had emerged from Sharon. Sharon had been sure that she had been able to feel the "baby" kicking during the pregnancy, so if Phoebe was surprised then Sharon was really shocked. "I wonder if I'm full of collars too?" Phoebe mused.

  2. Sharon's abdomen seemed almost as distended as before.
