After discussing with Jim the merits of six inch heels, which she doubted she would
even be able to walk in, at twenty dollars, four inch heels at seventy dollars, or flats
at three hundred dollars, Sharon settled on the four inch heels. The transaction complete,
they tried to get more information about Wu out of the courier, with little success.
All the courier would say was that she had once been a customer herself, and that she
had never met Wu face to face.
When she had gone, Jim and Sharon discussed what they could do. "I think I'm going
to have to go braless, so no more jogging for me," Sharon said. "I'm going to
raise enough eyebrows when people
find that I now have H-cup breasts - I suppose I will have to tell them that I have had
implants - but appearing to have K-cups would be just too much. I'm not sure that I
shall be able to continue as a lawyer, either. This outfit is really going to push
the limits at the office. The firm is fairly old-fashioned, and doesn't even allow casual
dress on Fridays. And I'd never be able to appear in court dressed like this, which
is going to restrict my career considerably...
- "Nevertheless, I am going to try to continue, if need be with a less conservative firm."
- "I think I shall have to look for another career."
- *"Meanwhile, do you have any ideas for tracking Wu down?"
