“Jeanette, who is this and why is he calling you a boy?” Jim’s mother demanded of her child.
“Gee, mom, I’m...” Jim began.
“That’s enough out of the you two,” the Leprechaun told them. “You in especial, me lovely,” he told Jim’s mother. She opened her mouth again but no sound came out. Turning back to Jim, he said, “Now look, I can’t turn you back the way you were but the right Leprechaun could. I can sense that your father isn’t so fond of her any more so why don’t you let me have your mother here. I’ll turn her into a Leprechaun and then she can turn you back.”
Jim looked down at his partially clad young girl’s body and then up at his bewildered mother. “I don’t know what the smart thing to do is.” But after a pause he said,
