The woman did a double take. Yes, she really had seen over Jim's shoulder what she had thought she had seen. Noticing that they had been spotted, "Gloria" and "Sheba" gave the woman a friendly wave, apparently quite oblivious to her look of astonishment mingled with embarrassment.

Realising that the woman had spotted the girls, but was for the moment too surprised to say anything, Jim wondered what to do.

  1. He slammed the door in the pair's face.
  2. *Deciding on a bold approach, he said: "Girls, won't you come and say 'hello' to the nice lady and gentleman?"
  3. He said: "If you'll leave me your literature, I'll consider making a donation, but I'm rather busy just at present."
