There was only one option. He must kill himself.

He set the ray gun to maximum power on minimize and shot himself. He could not so much feel himself shrink, as note the room around him grow. Jim became so small as to be smaller than a spec of dirt - so small his very existance was of no significance, and his life was not worth observing.

Hence, Jim ceased to exist.

As a result of Jim's untimely demise it will be necessary to start the adventure with a new character...
