Jim prised the ring from Sharon's finger, but immediately afterwards he almost dropped it again as he felt the cold fingers of her other hand close about his wrist. She then sat up and plucked the sword from her stomach. Apparently unconcerned about the gaping wound, she said: "Don't be silly, Jim. You can't kill me. I'm already dead - a zombie, if you like." No blood came from the wound; her blood had presumably congealed after she died.

She thrust the sword at him, and he attempted to dodge...
