Wait a minute! I'm set! This is the normal sequence of events again! Jim realized as soon as he got back to his senses. Not a second later, though, Sharon was already attacking him with a rather heavy spear. And Jim, being not Ash after all, found out that he couldn't dodge the spear by rolling aside like in the movie. The pain when Sharon's spear hit his leg was excruciating, even if it was just a flesh wound; the identity and appearance of the attacker made the pierced flesh look and feel worse than they actually were.
"Sharon! Stop! It's me!" Jim cried, almost to his tears. The undead Sharon dropped the spear and jumped right on him, showing sharp yellow teeth and inch-long claws. Jim reacted in an instinctive way, and FINALLY managed to roll out of the way. A severed skeletal hand nearby on the ground provided him with a rusty but effective sword. Sharon's next throw-attack ended with her getting impaled on the thing.
Getting back on his feet, Jim took the weapon from her body, trying to rationalize what he just did -- after Ash killed the evil Sheila in the movie, she returned to normal when the Army collapsed. Still, he was trembling and short of having a neon sign saying "I'M SCARED TO DEATH" there was little else he could do to show a particularily massive zombie that he was a good target. Still in tears and fighting with the desperate strenght, Jim managed to cut the zombie's head from its body (after all, he remembered something from the Romerian series too) and looked at the dead Sharon at his feet.
