(One thing that leaves MoniqueW98 plots very distinct from the rest of Addventure is her habit of casting things in the first person,not exactly continuity.Jim belongs squarely to BE-Addventure,and it's hard to see him being hived off into a short story.Anyway,I've continued a couple of Monique episodes and never been continued...Monique never seems to share plot development with others).

Hubert telephones his/her old self's office,speaks with Liz-in-Hubert and with Elly.There are some exchanges about the suspected thievery going on over there.

Hubert thinks,

I think she's better suited to running my business than I am.The next month is going to tell.If she gets to the bottom of things where I couldn't,when I get back into my old body--and much as I love this one,I owe her that--I'm going to be changing my will.Leaving most of what I own to one Elizabeth Silver.

I don't know what she'd do if she knew I was planning that,so I won't let on...just let her do her job.And when I'm gone,she can continue it in her own body...which I'm borrowing in the meantime.

  1. Hubert-as-Liz goes out exploring.
  2. Jim comes in for breakfast,a bit uneasy about the night before.
  3. There is a knock at the door.
