Jim doesn't Panic

Unending BE - episode 30511

Jim says, "Oh SHIT!" The phone continued to ring. "I guess I have to." He walked over and picked up the phone. "Hello."

"Hello is Sharon there?"

Sharon's Mother! Jim thought. For a moment he started to panic and then he took a deep breath and said, "Sharon? No Sharon here. I just moved into this place. You must have a wrong number or something." Fortunately for Jim, he had never met Sharon's family because they lived in another town.

"She never told me she was moving!"

"I'm sorry, ma'am. Maybe you just dialed wrong."

"I used the speed-dial!"

Uh oh. This isn't going well. "There was a weird note on the floor when I came in."

"What was it?"

"Let's see it says 'Moving to Denver. Call 678-454-2278.' That's all I know."

"That's just like her. Always picking up and going somewhere. Thanks."

"Sure. I hope you find her." As Jim hung up the phone he thought

  1. "That was pretty smooth. We'll be okay here for awhile."
  2. "We have to go to my place right now."
  3. "I really fucked that up." As the phone started to ring again.
  4. *Before he could think, Leather and Lace pressed themselves up against either side of him.
