Jim just looked in puzzlement at the strange being who had come into view, making strange noises somewhat reminiscent of those that his mate used to make. The being was pale and almost hairless, like his mate, but appeared to be male since there was no sign of breasts. He couldn't be absolutely sure, though, since it had pieces of material draped over it as though it was ashamed of its body.

  1. Sharon, like Jim, had forgotten English when she ate the Fruit of Forgetfulness.
  2. *Sharon could still speak and understand English, though she had no idea who Rick was or who Sharon and Jim might be.
