Happiness, that's it?

Unending BE - episode 30423

...a woman across the street saw him and started to come over. "Hello. Welcome to our happy little town. You must be Jim. My name is No. 42. How are you today? Are you happy?"

Jim was a bit startled at how friendly this person was. Ususally, in his opinion at least, people treated other people like dirt. "Umm, hi." he replied, edging back into his home.

The stange woman followed him inside and sat on the couch in his living room. "Are you happy today?" she asked.

"I don't even know you," Jim said, starting at the woman from the front door, "yet you barge into my house liek I invited you. What do you want lady? What's your angle? Where the hell am I?"

"We are in Rozlan. Everybody know that. I just want to make you happy. That is the secret of life you know, to make people happy and to be happy yourself. Are you happy?" The woman grinned infuriatingly at Jim.

"Look, get out of my house and I'll be happy." Jim said.

"Is that all? It does not take much to make you happy. Good day to you Jim. I bid you happiness eternal." and with that the woman stood and left the house.

"Yeah whatever." Jim mumbled.

  1. Jim calls after her. "Say, lady. If you want to make me really happy, I have a few ideas."
  2. A bit confused at what had just happend, Jim went back into his house and started to read the news paper. (a bit mundane, I know)
  3. Suddenly a large monser appeard and ripped the happy woman to bloody stips. Jim quickly pulled out a howizer cannon which he kept in his pocket - no, not that one - and porceded to blast the hell out of the monster.
  4. A bit bored, Jim decided to explore this odd and far too happy village.
