So Chivalry is not dead!

“Thank you, kind sir,” says Sharon to her rescuer, the Moonlight Knight. Wishing to be helpful she picks up the white sword, whose unorthodox use gave her the chance to escape the stranger’s lustful embrace. As she turns sword in hand, the stranger gives a yelp of fear and runs off protecting his goolies with both hands. Sharon cannot help but giggle.

The Moonlight Knight is, it seems, made of more serious stuff. He throws back his cloak and kneels before Sharon, drawing both her hands together and kissing them with something approaching fervour. Sharon is impressed. Now that he is nearer, she can see something of his face, which is unsmiling but still kindly. She sees that his garb is not so much Arabian as Medieval, Age of Chivalry, Hollywood circa 1923. The white mask seems incongruous though. It covers his upper face almost completely apart from his piercing blue eyes, which glint dramatically in the moonlight. Impulsively Sharon reaches out to remove the mask.

The Moonlight Knight

  1. *.......is revealed as……..
  2. *.......says, ”The mask must remain, my fair one.” He picks Sharon up in his strong arms and drops to his horse below.
  3. .......says “This mask was a wizard’s spell. Only my one true love can one day remove it.”
