"Okay," said Julie-Su. "I have it narrowed down to three jobs that don't require any degrees and such that also pay decently. But we'll have to hurry before they're filled. Here's the names and descriptions." She handed Sharon a piece of paper. "You pick the one you wanna apply for, and I'll snag a taxi to get us there. I have a few credits on me."
Sharon perused the paper and considered.

  1. *She decides to apply for the job of janitor at City Hall.
  2. *She decides to try for the taxi driver job. After all, she DOES already know how to drive; how hard can it be?
  3. She decides to go apply for the job of food-stand clerk at the Happyland Amusement Park.
  4. SOMETHING ELSE happens for reasons only God can comprehend.
