"AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jim screamed as he ran towards the beast and leaped at its throat using the springs in his shoes. The wad of green acid tossed by the minotaur failed to intercept him and stuck itself on a wall, leaving a large corrosion mark on the steel panel. When the minotaur intercepted him in mid-flight with the other hand Jim realized what a stupid thing he had just done. The minotaur grabbed him by the forearms while still in mid-air, but didn't take Jim's armour into account and fell on its back, landing on a guard and probably breaking most of his ribs. The monster's muscular back took the hit very well and rolled sideways. Jim managed to parry the remaining acid with a forearm, but the stuff was now happily eating its way through the armour's metal. Now it was Jim's turn to be down to the ground. The minotaur kept him down with its sheer weight and strong arms. Its horrid face turned into a grin as slimy saliva began to drool from its mouth. The acid made its way through the armor and Jim could distinctly feel the pain in his left hand and wrist, not even wanting to see what the wound looked like. The two seconds of immobility seemed like an eternity. Then...
