Unending BE - episode 30005

Jim went back in the lair (his basement lab) and fired up the good old 286 he kept hidden under a pile of other electronic junk. He logged in (there was no password actually, the login was accomplished by getting the stupid thing to work, something that only a skilled nerd could have done) and was disappointed to see that the UNA network was down. This time he couldn't get any help from his alt-jumping colleagues.
"Well, fry me. This is for Sharon after all, so fuck the Faction Rules!" he stated to nobody in particular.
Factional relations hadn't changed much since his last alt-jump to R02 (and to think that it was just for a Modern History project! Damn Nazis, he thought) but it was a good time to check again. He navigated through some pages of text and finally found the diplomatic relations screen. He knew that he wasn't authorized to start a contact like this, but what the heck. While hoping he wouldn't choose the Faction which was behind Mr. Black's biotech experiments (high-tech secret projects were usually backed by alt-jumpers anyway) he moved his cursor to:
