Pregnant Sharon

Sharon started feeling sick in the mornings, and then she realised that her period was well overdue. Putting two and two together, she realised that she must be pregnant. For this to be possible, did it mean that Jim's sperm were still indistinguishable from human sperm, and that her child would be human? Or would it be some sort of gorilla-human hybrid? Sharon hoped it would be the former, but she didn't know enough biology to be sure. In any case, whilst she wore the collar and Jim wore the ring, she wasn't sure whether ordinary scientific laws necessarily applied to them any more.
