WHAT The....?

Unending BE - episode 29334

The four animals suddenly appeared, with a POP, in a very strange place.
Well, it was strange to Charmy, Mighty, Vector, and Espio--who was just beginning to wake up on his own now--because there wasn't any music playing, the colours were so dull, everything was so hard and metallic instead of being overgrown with nature and it smelled funny. Actually, it smelled bad.
But to Sharon, it looked totally normal.
She was back on Earth again! In her own universe! Home sweet home!!
The problem was...they were also in Mr. Black's lab, and would be seen in a moment!
"Oh, my, god," gasped Charmy, tugging on Sharon's arm. He angled his antennae towards a strange glass tube in the centre of the room. "It's...it's...it looks like..."
"Me." Sharon completed the sentence. For indeed, her bee-person face still looked much like her own, and she still had the same hair and eyes and all that. "That's me. I mean, I guess it's ANOTHER me. I mean...I don't know...I don't THINK I have a twin..."
"Is that one of your sisters?" Mighty just joined the conversation.
Espio glared at him sleepily. "Mighty, just because armadillos ALWAYS have kids in identical sets of four doesn't mean everyone does. If she says it ain't her sister, it ain't her sister, chill, okay?" (Author's note--not that you care, or that it's important to the story, but armadillos DO always have identical quadruplets--funky, huh?)
"Quiet," Vector hushed them all, leaning back against the wall as hard as he could. As the largest member of the group by far, he was in the most danger of being discovered. "Look what they're doing to her."
They all watched in horror as the poor other-Sharon was hit by a strange ray of light, from a machine operated by the evil Mr. Black, and suddenly transformed into a grotesque mix of cow and Human! Cow-Sharon then began to moo piteously, as if she were crying.
Charmy looked sideways at Bee-Sharon. "So THAT'S why our world was so unfamiliar to you..." he murmured. "You were originally a Human from this strange place!"
"I--I'm sorry I lied, Charmy, but I just didn't think it was safe and--"
"STUFF it you two." said Espio, as he faded into transparency and then went totally invisible--his special talent, as a chameleon, after all. Well, okay, as a magical, sentient, chameleon. "That poor woman is miserable. I say we help her bust out of this place before they do anything worse to her! They'd accept her on Mobius. The cow-people we have there look more full-cow-ish, but in general, that's the place to be if you're an animal person. We need to rescue her and bring her back with us! Are you with me?"
"YEAH!" came back four other voices. Sharon secretly wondered how Espio had revived so quickly. Maybe he hadn't been HURT, after all, just drugged with a tranquiliser--and now its effects had worn off. Whatever, she'd ask him later when things weren't quite so chaotic.
"CHAARRRRRGGGEEEEEE!!!" yelled Mighty, and the five animals BURST into the lab, screaming like banshees.
