Jim pulled out a metal bat and swung it at the most vulnerale portion of the system which might actually cause shot down - the cables connecting the two booths.

Of course, as a basement scientist Jim rarely concerned himself with proper insulation and safety - as was evidenced by shutting off the machine with a baseball bat. So, his metal bat struck exposed wire, and he was deep enough into the system that his feet were standing on bare metal - putting him into the transfer circuit.

  1. Tanya stops growing and Jim takes the rest of Sharon's height
  2. The interrupted circuit causes a power feedback and Sharon takes all of Jim and Tanya's height
  3. Jim interrupted the flow and Sharon stops shrinking, but Tanya takes all of Jim's height
