The wand

"What's this," Jim wondered curiously, picking up a wand no more than a foot long, silvery except at one end where some pink stone was faintly glowing.

Beside the wand was a big book, and opening it, Jim read on the first page of the book: "Magic Wand Safe Use Handbook".

"Well, this is interesting, Jim thought, and started reading. Well before he was ready, something happened...

  1. In a puff of smoke, a cute 5 feet tall demoness shows up in a pentagram in another part of the room.
  2. Merlin returns.
  3. Merlin's stacked assistant Julie walks in through a secret door.
  4. The VR environment breaks down, and Jim finds himself somewhere else...
