There was a small,overgrown structure with stairs that led down into darkness.

They looked at it carefully.Jim couldn't help liking the way Sharon looked,and she couldn't help getting used to it.The breezes gave her chills,but they were subdued in the forest and it was a rather warm day even in the shade.This was the most interesting thing they had found in their explorations...

  1. *They went down the steps.
  2. They examined the exterior of the structure carefully.
  3. They heard someone approaching.
  4. Sharon found that her collar would not permit her to move away from the structure.
