A restart?

Unending BE - episode 28184

Jim's mind quickly scans over all of the old Genie-esque movies he's ever seen, and he grills the Genie as to the extent of the wishes:

"So, Genie", he begins, "Just how powerful are these wishes?"
"You're a smartass, but for once it's done you some good. It turns out that I was lying... It's like this. I used to give peopel 3 wishes of almost unlimited power, but they ended up thinking and thinking, and in the end, made huge changes to the world. I mean, taking over countries, inventing new technologies... you get the idea."
"And...?" Jim began
"And," continued the Genie "I decided that I'd only give people one wish, and make that wish able to tap into my full power... but people did the same asshole things with the wishes, and it sucked even more, because I had to wait even longer. I woner what became of old Adolf, anyway..."
"Um, genie... I hate to push you along here, but is there a point in all this?"
"Well, anyway, MASTER, I finally decided to give people a whole lot of small wishes... but most people wish for one big thing, and their allotment of power gets used up. You see, back in the olde days, the council of... oh, nevermind. I can see you really don't care about MY feelings..."
"You're a GENIE!!" Yelled Jim, "What the hell kind of Genie sits here and gripes instead of giving me wishes! You say you're sick of people who can't make up their damn mind... well, I'm gonna make up my damn mind right now, and I don't care how dumb my wish is. AND, I'll be sure to make it something that you can agree with!"
