After they had been exploring for ten minutes or so, Sharon decided on a whim to open a heavy wooden door that opened off the passage-way that she was walking along with Jim. The door opened, revealing what looked to be a bare cell. However, when Sharon tried to enter the room, her collar constricted until she took a step back away from the doorway. "My collar won't let me enter," she told Jim. "Strange," he replied. "Let me try my luck."

He entered with no difficulty...

  1. And discovered that the room was less bare than it had at first appeared.
  2. *But the door closed itself behind him, and neither of them could open it.
  3. And for some reason Sharon felt a chill run down her spine.
  4. And once he was inside Sharon was able to enter.
