Sharon had been sitting on the edge of the bed; now she stood up, wrapped the sheet around her more thoroughly, and walked around the bed to the new girl. "I'm Sharon, and this is my roommate Anne. I don't know where she got her ferret. Who are you, and why do you look so much like me?"
"That's a coincidence, I was just thinking the same thing. My name's Sharon too. You look just like me, I think -- a bit older though. Are those creases around your eyes new?"
Sharon blushed angrily. "I'm only 24, dammit! How old are you?"
"I'm 18. I'll be graduating this year. But we look too much alike for it to be just a coincidence."
"Enough of this. Where did you come from? How did that hole appear in the middle of my bedroom? And why do you have a ferret between your tits, and by the way why the implants?"
"These aren't implants -- Rick did this to me in ten minutes with his and Jim's lab equipment. I have no idea how I got away from there, but I woke up in a tunnel surrounded by ferrets! These two seemed to want me to go with them, so I followed them and here I am."
"That doesn't explain the one in your cleavage."
"I don't know. I guess he or she likes it there, and it feels kinda nice. I still haven't had time to get used to these new boobs, and how sensitive they are."
"Strange -- I haven't seen Jim or Rick for a few years, though I do remember a lot of strange things happening in their 'lab'. I did have a weird dream about Jim just this morning, which I vaguely remember had both ferrets and growing breasts in it. Maybe we really are the same person -- who can say that the ferrets can't send people through time as well as space."
Sharon turned to Anne, who was still playing with her nipples. "Anne! Stop that! Where did you get that ferret?"
"Oooh... Sorry, Sharon. You really oughta try this, it's great. I don't know where he came from -- there was a cage sitting inside the front door when I was heading out for my morning jog. He just looked so cute, I couldn't help petting him."
