Rick started surfing on the web, placing ads in various places (websites, agencies, and a few Hollywood newspapers), advertising an actress that specialized in playing a half-cat, that would not require the studio to provide makeup. After a quick shot with a camera, he tacked on a scanned picture. Rick knew that that would catch a few eyes, as a makeup job for such a creature would require several hundred dollars each day at least. He put what he thought to be a modest fee, and put a note that she would only be available in a few months, due to personal matters.

That done, he and the cat-girls waited.

Within a few days the phone rang, and on the other end was...

  1. a director offering Jen the lead role in a 'Xena'-clone.
  2. *an overseas produced offering Jen the part of Felicia in a live-action Darkstalkers movie.
  3. *a rather sleazy-sounding guy, asking if Jen was interested in going into porn.
  4. some guy ordering a pizza. Dang, what a time for a wrong number!
