They waited for the ferrets to follow their other selves into the hole so that they could grab the wand. But suddenly, the mass of ferrets turned as one and looked at the two hidden girls.

"I don't like the look of this, Ricki," Jamie said. They started backing up.

The ferrets swarmed after them, and Jamie and Ricki ran.

  1. The ferrets catch them anyway.
  2. Somebody rescues them.
  3. They get away and do something else.
