At The Start of Sharon's Day

Unending BE - episode 4420

As the night faded and the sky outside lightened, a young woman lay sleeping in her bed, curled up in fetal position under the covers. The clock radio on her nightstand made an audible *click* as it turned to "6:30". An obnoxious beeping sound ensued.

In a reflex action, Sharon immediately reached over and silenced the alarm. She had been in middle of an exciting yet disturbing sexual dream. As the fog cleared from her head, the details of the dream slipped from her grasp and into the night. She sat up on the edge of the bed and let the waking world enter her mind. What would today be like? she wondered. She hoped it would be more interesting than her typical day. She felt the need for some excitement!

After sitting for a minute and trying to gather her energy, Sharon:

1. *remembered it was her first day at her new job!
2. *realized she was not in her bedroom.
3. *heard her roommate knocking at her bedroom door.
4. *smiled and recalled that today was her anniversary!
5. *reached over and shook the person laying next to her.
6. *couldn't shake the feeling that she was forgetting something important.
