Ferret on the Loose II

Finding itself free in Sharon's back yard, the ferret-like creature was elated. (Or at least it felt the ferret equivalent of elation.) Its nose twitched excitedly and its gold eyes darted about. It began to explore. On each side of Sharon's house were other houses, and behind it were a park and a junior high school. Once it had exhausted the confines of the back yard, the animal scampered over the fence with ease and headed toward

1. the neighbors' house on the left.
2. the neighbors' house on the right.
3. *the park.
4. *the junior high school.
