Deklamon's Curse: Asking For Official Help

Unending BE - episode 3105

As they approached the palace, they noticed the spledor of the central castle and the walls surrounding it. Large stones lay plastered together to form the walls, each as large as a small carriege. The gate itself was arched and very angular that made it appear as if it wee changing direction about halfway up, where the porticulus rested, capable of opening even further, or closing in a moment's notice should trouble make it's way through the city.

However, even as beautiful as the city was, Jim could see the faint cracks and wearings that signaled the beginning of it's slow decay. Several places on the wall shown that while supplies had been gerous when the construction started, they had left some time ago for the general upkeep of such a marvel. Jim looked ahead beyond the gate itself, and looked at two guards, each carrying a long spear at their side, and a short sword sheathed onto their belts for close quarters combat. The guards glared at the three approaching them, and made a quick nod behind them to signal the archer's along the inside of the castle that someone was coming. The other guard placed his hand in front of the trio to signal that they stop. "Halt! State your names and your purpose! Only those on official kingdom buisness may enter into these walls."

  1. Deanna is prepared and presents them with an official seal from their town stating their mission, and the guards let them pass.
  2. Cabron tries to explain Jim's status as a divine avatar to get the guards to let them pass.
  3. Cabron explains, but the guards don't believe them, and they are forced to leave the city empty-handed.
