Jackie gets in on computer fun.

Unending BE - episode 3033

Jackie was not a happy camper. When that lightning bolt hit outside, she'd been minding her own business, blow-drying her hair after a shower. The bolt had made the blow-dryer act like a turbo jet engine, and though her hair was dry now, it was also sticking straight back about two feet, and showed no sign of letting gravity do it's job anytime soon. As she barged into the room, she called out, "Jim! Are you goofing off with the house wires again??"

Jim/Demona grabbed quickly at the bathroom door and slammed it shut. She thought quickly, trying to explain away a rather sumbstantial problem. "I..." Jim paused and forced her voice lower. "Uh, I wasn't doing anything! Something hit the telephone pole outside!"

Jackie frowned, as she smelled burnt computer. She wandered over to Jim's system. "Mom's gonna be pissed when she sees you ruined another computer. That's the third this month!" Jackie knew a few things about computers, and though this one seemed pretty shot, it looked like it still worked, sorta. The screen was dim, but Jackie could see some of the picture. She started to adjust the brightness when...

  1. She heard Jim cry out in the bathroom.
  2. *A bright spark jumped out of the screen and zapped her hand.1
  3. *Jim's mother came in, demanding to know what happened to the electricity.
