Reluctently, Jim gets dressed, has breakfast, fixed by Liz, and goes to the coomputer to check his e-mail. Amazed he looks at the first message: "Important I talk to you as soon as possible. Have a major deal for you. Call (707) 556-6665 immediately. Hubert Murphy." Jim realizes he just read about this guy, one of the wealthiest men in the country, having made his fortune in chains of fast-food places. Just yesterday there was an article about him in the paper. Jim finds it, and looks at the fat old man, really pretty ugly, but filthy rich.
After Jim excitedly tells Liz about this, he calls the number. Going through a couple of underlings, he's finally put through to Murphy.
"Young man, I'm not going to waste time here. I'm old and sick and the doctors give me a year at the most. Before I go six feet under, I want to experience youth once more....just one month. I understand you've developed a program that can restore youth to people. Is that right?" "Almost, sir. My program is an body-exchange program. In your case, we'd have to find some young persons to exchange bodies with you for one month." "No problem. You find him, and I'll pay him $100,000 for the month, the same amount I'm willing to pay you. Can you do it?" "I'll try and get back to you later today."
